Spice Girls - Goodbye |
] |
I interviewed with Paychex yesterday for a Payroll Specialist position. The interview lasted about an hour, and I thought that it seemed to go well. The job is great. It pays like twice what I make right now, and the benefits are amazing. They called me first thing this morning for a second interview (Friday @ 9:30am), so hopefully, I'll get the job! :]
Last night was the SPICE GIRLS concert! Hands down, best concert I've ever been to in my life, I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was. OMG. I lovedddddddddddddddddddddd it! Heather and I had soooooooo much fun, and it was worth every single penny.
Other than that, I've just been working a TON! I'm trying to cover for Jackie at the WCC, and B.Wentz at PB, so I have like 55 hours this week...plus the two interviews, Spice Girls, and the BLACK & WHITE party this Saturday night! I was sick for most of the weekend and beginning of this week, so now I'm just trying to catch up on all of the things that I had put aside.
I saw that Donald has a new girlfriend. It probably would have made me really upset if I had noticed it a few weeks ago, but I've been smiling so much lately that nothing really phases me lol (thank you!). I can honestly say now that I'm very happy that he's found someone new, and I wish him nothing but lots of love, and happiness, and I hope that she can give him everything that I know I couldn't. He's a great man, just not for me.
I'm sure there's alot more that I'm forgetting, butttt that's all for now. :]

Something Corporate - Walking By |
] |
These nights I get high just from breathing. When I lie here with you I'm sure that I'm real, like that firework over the freeway. I could stay here all day but that's not how you feel. What did I do that you can't seem to want me? Why do we lie here and whisper goodbyes? Where can I go that your pictures won't haunt me? What makes it so easy for you to be walking by?

Dear Friends & Family,
Last year AIDS killed 2.1 million people globally… Diabetes was the cause of 3.5 million deaths.
Chronic diseases normally last a lifetime. With “no cure in sight”, diabetes is one such disease. The 230 million people that are affected by it, are forced to find a way to cope with the daily struggle that the changing symptoms present. After reading several articles on “coping with a chronic disease”, one word that stood out was ACCEPTANCE. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times the word “accept” has come up in conversations about the management of my diabetes since I was diagnosed nearly eight years ago. I started to believe, “It isn’t going to go away; you may as well accept it.” Even today, I understand that diabetes will most likely be the end for me. The thing about acceptance though, is that while it helps us get through the day to day battle, it makes us complacent, and we lose the war. If everyone accepts the cards that they’re dealt, no one will ever fight for anything. If nothing is done, number of people dealing with diabetes is projected to rise from 230 million to 350 million in less than twenty years. In order that the next person doesn’t have to, I’m ready to start fighting back.
There’s so much that can be done through research and awareness. TYPE.ONE. is an organization that I started two months ago. TYPE.ONE. is raising money for diabetes research by contributing to the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We will be raising awareness in the community through fund raising events, and setting up information booths at community functions. After receiving an overwhelming display of support in just our first month, it seems that the possibilities for TYPE.ONE. are endless. In our current fundraiser, everyone can help TYPE.ONE. continue our funding for diabetes research by ordering or renewing your favorite magazine subscriptions online and sharing our fundraiser site with friends and relatives! We’ve also registered TYPE.ONE. as an official team for the WALK TO CURE DIABETES in Pennsauken, NJ at Cooper River Park on October 26, 2008. Visit JDRF.COM to make a donation toward our team’s $1,000 goal, or (EVEN BETTER!!) JOIN our team, and walk with us and one-half million other people across the country as we try to reach our national goal of $100 million!!
Our thanks to everyone who have already shown their support, and has helped to make this possible! It’s not too late for others to join in!! Visit our site at: WWW.MYSPACE.COM/TYPEONEHOPE to keep abreast of the events that we have going on, or to offer your support! The more help we have, the bigger difference we can make! We’re looking to make a few purchases in the near future, which include support bracelets, and a TYPE.ONE. banner for the events that we attend and host. Anything you’re able to give makes a difference! (skip the morning coffee; donate the $2!) =) Please help TYPE.ONE. Fight diabetes!
Your support is appreciated!

James Morrison - Wonderful World |
] |
Well, I know that it's a wonderful world, but I can't feel it right now. I thought that I was doing well, but I just want to cry now.
